A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this Traditional Lakeland Farmhouse along with a complimentary Tea/Coffee and home made cake on your arrival. The Farmhouse dates from 1621 with oak beams, panelling and log fires.
There are three pretty letting rooms Two Double Bedded Rooms and One Twin Bedded Room all with Idyllic views of the Langdale Valley. All three rooms have wash basins, tea making facilities, hair dryers and are fully central heated. There is a bath, shower and second separate toilet for guest’s use.
The day starts with Sue’s excellent home cooking a Full English Breakfast with Vegetarian or Lighter alternatives on offer all using local produce. Packed Lunch available on request. The cosy Lounge has an array of leaflets and brochures on walks and local attractions also television.
This is a splendid base for walking, touring , climbing or just relaxing and every effort is made for your comfort and enjoyment.

We have a modern, warm, comfortable and clean bunkhouse that has 5 bedrooms with 18 beds in total. There are 3 twin rooms and 2 larger rooms with 6 beds in each.
There are communal washrooms separate for men and women with hot showers included. Clean linen is provided as well as pillows and duvets. Towels can be requested for an extra charge.
Our location is unrivalled in the heart of the Lake District on The Cumbria Way in Langdale at the foot of the Langdale Pikes and within walking distance to Scafell Pike and Bowfell.
